With 7-Day Flexible Scheduling, you can program your thermostat for the week
ahead - and adjust it easily if your plans change.
The T5 7-Day Programmable Thermostat will automatically heat or cool your home to maintain the temperature you like most.
The simple instructions and large backlit display in either Fahrenheit or Celsius makes it easy to program your selections and keep your home comfortable all week.
Whether it's separate daily programs, or making things different on weekdays and weekends, it's easy to find a program that suits your lifestyle.
The T5 7-Day Programmable Thermostat learns your heating/cooling cycle times to deliver the right temperature when you want it. Its capacity for automatic heating or cooling when you need it includes an auto change from heat to cool.
Includes change reminders for filters and low batteries, a real-time clock that automatically adjusts for Daylight Savings Time and has temporary and permanent hold settings.
Auto Changeover allows the thermostat to change automatically between heating and cooling. The thermostat will change between heating and cooling as needed based on the room temperature and the elected heating and cooling set points.
When you are in Auto Change Over mode, the display will say either “auto heat” or “auto cool” to the left of the room temperature. If you are trying to change the heat setting when the display says “auto heat”, or trying to change the cool setting when it says “auto cool”, simply press the + or – button. If you want to change the cool set point when it says “auto heat”, you must first press the mode button until the mode shows “cool”, then use the + or – to change the cool set point. Then press the mode button to switch the mode back to Auto Changeover. If you want to change the heat set point when it says “auto cool, you must first press the mode button until the mode shows “heat”, then use the + or – to change the heat set-point. Then press the mode button to switch the mode back to Auto Changeover. If you are trying to set the heat and cool set points for your program settings (wake, leave, return, sleep) the thermostat allows you to adjust each set point as you cycle through the program settings.
To clean the screen, use household glass cleaner, but do not spray it directly on the screen. The cleaner can be put onto a soft cloth and used to wipe the screen.
Honeywell does not have a free thermostat program. However, Honeywell does from time to time partner with companies to give away energy saving thermostats as part of different programs.
The warranty is one year.
The package includes: T5 Thermostat, UWP mounting system and quick installation guide.
NOTE: Available system modes vary by model and system settings. System modes include: Auto, Heat, Cool, Em Heat.
*The circulate option that allows you to set the fan to run a certain amount of time per hour."
To adjust the program schedules:
The temporary hold setting is when you change the temperature setting to a different temperature and it stays at that setting until the next schedule change. The permanent hold setting holds the temperature setting you have chosen for an indefinite time. This overrides your scheduled settings.
Temporary hold lasts until the next scheduled program period.
From home screen, press MENU button. Then press “+” until “prog” is displayed on the screen. Then press SELECT to edit the program. If you don't see the program option when following these steps, the thermostat may have been configured as non-programmable by the installer. Check ISU 120 shown on page 8 of the quick install guide.
This is a built-in jumper switch in case there are two transformer systems. If there is only one R-Wire and it is connected to the R, Rc, or Rh terminal on the old thermostat, set the slider to the up position (1 wire). (Slider will automatically hide Rc position and internally jump R and Rc together.) If there is one wire connected to the R terminal and one wire connected to Rc terminal, set the Slider to the down position (2 wires).
